Hannan Kadar, one of our amazing student volunteers, shares her story as refugee from Syria and her experience of volunteering as a teacher’s aide at commUnity+ English language education classes.
When Hannan first came to commUnity+ she couldn’t speak English, but after completing the SEE Program she’s now able to help others take their first steps to learn English.
The SEE Program supports stronger reading, writing, maths and computer skills can help you to:
- improve the skills you already have
- build a better pathway to a good job
- go further in your current job
- be more confident to do further study
SEE will help with all these goals as well as everyday tasks, like filling in forms and reading to your child.
