Child Safety Commitment

Comm Unity Plus Services Ltd commits to the safety of children and young people in all that we do. It is the responsibility of all members of our team.
We understand that we have a responsibility to uphold the safety and wellbeing of children and young people who come in contact with us, our team and services. Their safety and wellbeing will always be our first priority. We will always act when we learn that a child is at risk.
Anyone wishing to raise any child safety concerns in relation to commUnity+ can do so by emailing childsafetyofficer@comm-unityplus.org.au.
Our Child Safety Officer is the General Manager of Family and Community Services. They are accountable for commUnity+’s child safety standards, and responsible for investigating and reporting on any child safety allegations or incidents that are raised in relation to commUnity+ programs and staff.
commUnity+ also encourages anyone to make reports direct to the relevant authorities, such as the Commissioner for Children and Young People: https://ccyp.vic.gov.au/report-an-allegation/. For any immediate risks, please call 000.
