If you are starting a new life in Australia, learning English can help you settle into your new life, and help you look for work and make new friends. By enrolling in commUnity+ adult English language classes you will:

We have a number of different English courses suit your needs and help you learn English. The friendly team at commUnity+ will help you decide which course is best for you.
Adult Migrant English Program
The Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) provides FREE English language tuition to help you settle in Australia.
Migrants can now stay in the program longer and the previous 510 hour cap has been removed. People who were previously not eligible may now be eligible.

Skills First
The Skills First program funds training providers to deliver subsidised courses and skill sets. So eligible students will pay less for their training. commUnity+ delivers English as an Additional Language (EAL) programs within the Skills First scheme.
The program provides:
- funding for learners who need extra support
- access to targeted, relevant training for all Victorians
Courses are held at commUnity+ sites – at Deer Park, Keilor Downs and St Albans – and in partnership with community groups, schools, and others.
Certificates in English as an Additional Language (EAL)
EAL courses prepare students for further study or employment by improving English language speaking, listening, reading and writing, as well as vocabulary and pronunciation.
SEE (Skills for Education and Employment)
The SEE program delivers FREE language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills training to eligible Australians.
commUnity+ SEE Program students learn:
- Career development, interview, and teamwork skills.
- Digital Literacy, spoken and written communication skills.
- Practical skills, including arranging appointments, completing forms, and contributing to the local community.
The SEE program is delivered in Craigieburn, Deer Park, Keilor Downs and St Albans. Two to five days per week.
