The Reconnect Project is a COVID-recovery Community Engagement project that supported the community of Deer Park to reconnect with each other and discover, or rediscover, neighbourhood house offerings and community assets.

Comm Unity Plus Services Ltd commits to the safety of children and young people in all that we do. It is the responsibility of all members of our team.

We understand that we have a responsibility to uphold the safety and wellbeing of children and young people who come in contact with us, our team and services. Their safety and wellbeing will always be our first priority. We will always act when we learn that a child is at risk.

Our Child Safety Officer is the General Manager of Family and Community Services. They are accountable for commUnity+’s child safety standards, and responsible for investigating and reporting on any child safety allegations or incidents that are raised in relation to commUnity+ programs and staff.

commUnity+ also encourages anyone to make reports direct to the relevant authorities, such as the Commissioner for Children and Young People: https://ccyp.vic.gov.au/report-an-allegation/. For any immediate risks, please call 000.

Feedback is a valuable tool for helping us to improve our organisation and provides opportunities of growth. Comm Unity Plus Services Ltd encourages and understands that our community has the right to give feedback, or make suggestions and complaints about our services.
